Hackathon (November 2021) and Workshop (10.12.2021 postponed)

After the final conference we will run a hackathon, the results of which will be presented in a workshop on December 1st and 2nd. The aim of the workshop and hackathon is to enrich the research ontology developed in the project with regard to further data sources and interoperability for further projects.

Objectives

  • Integration of further prosopographic data (e.g. professor catalogs)
  • Experiment using Geovistory: RDF-Daten für die Weiterverarbeitung aus Tabellen aufbereiten (David Knecht & Francesco Beretta, Kleio Lab GmbH) Folien
  • Discussion of the project vocabulary e.g. by annotation with relevant classes and properties of Foundational Ontologies
  • Data import into research ontology (SPARQL queries)
  • Period: November 2021
